US Airways Merger With American Coming Closer To Finalization

The US Airways merger with American Airlines will create the biggest airline in the world. It appears that the two airline companies are at the brink of coming to an agreement.

In the last few months, American Airlines and US Airways have been discussing the deal. However, no statement was released on when the deal will be finalized. In fact, the two companies have remained silent on whether the merger will push through.

However, reports have hinted at the possibility that the US Airways merger with American Airlines may be announced at the start of the coming week. On the other hand, other reports have revealed that the deal may not be forged in the coming weeks. Anonymous sources with knowledge on the discussions were cited as sources of these reports.

The two airline companies have discussed the possible merger for some time already. If the merger between US Airways and American Airlines will push through, it will result to the largest international airline company in terms of air traffic. The merger will also result to a company worth over $10 billion.
