A salmonella outbreak has already been announced by the federal health bureau in the United States. 26 states have already been infected by the outbreak. The outbreak started form Cargill Meat Plant in Springdale, in the state of Arkansas. The company immediately pulled out all the 36 million lbs. of ground turkey meat across a number of states.
