Vin Diesel To Star In “Guardians Of The Galaxy”

After the summer blockbuster “Fast and Furious 6” proved to be one of the biggest grossing movies in the last couple of years, speculation has arisen that actor Vin Diesel will lend his voice to play Groot in “Guardians of the Galaxy”.

It is rumored that the big man is in talks with Marvel Studios and that he will lend his deep voice to one of the most looked forward superhero movies in years. The movie will combine live action with the latest in CGI technology to create stunning scenes and computer animated characters like Groot, who is an alien with a tree like figure.

While nothing is settled yet and with Marvel not commenting on the issue even though they have a number of projects that involve Diesel, there is no guarantee that the Fast and Furious actor will star in “Guardians of the Galaxy”.

Even if negotiations haven’t yet ended, Diesel posted a picture of Groot on his Facebook page. The movie will be directed by James Gunn and will star Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, Glenn Close and Benicio Del Toro.

“Guardians of the Galaxy” will follow the story of Quill and a group of aliens including Vin Diesel character Groot that battle the forces of evil throughout the galaxy.
