WildStar Is Among The Most Feature-Loaded MMO In The Last Decade

The soon-to-be-released PC MMO WildStar is considered to be among the most feature-loaded MMO in the last decade, according to Stephan Frost. The statement of the producer puts it against World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings Online, and EverQuest II.

Frost indicated that game features premium content similar to HBO. He added they charge a subscription fee since people will pay for a fee for something good. Carbine Studios, developer of the game, also has the same view, Frost added.

He said players will enjoy the content once it is release into the market next month. New content will also be regularly added into the game every month. Frost also said a major expansion may be released by Carbine in the future.

Frost also said the subscription-based model used for WildStar is fair and does not have any hidden fees. He also said it was not necessary for players to use real money in ensuring their subscription is active since a CREDD system will also allow players to use in-game money to purchase a subscription. However, the CREDD system of the game is aimed at hardcore players of the game.

Although it will be necessary to purchase the box and pay a monthly subscription fee of $15, hardcore players can use in-game money in purchasing a subscription. This will allow players to continue playing WildStar free of charge after they purchase the box.

He also said users who are not hardcore players can also purchase CREDD and put it up for auction. It can be purchased by anyone using gold in the game. The gold can be used in purchasing anything in the game, which is makes the subscription fee fair for players of the game.

The open beta of the game was made available recently and will last until May 18. Players can sign up for the beta by visiting the website of the game. WildStar is expected to be officially launched on June 3.
