Windows Tablets Available At Less Than $100

A number of Windows tablets are currently being offered in the market at less than $100. While these tablets use the full version of the Windows 8.1, they can run basic PC applications. These tablets are designed to go up against numerous Android-powered tablets in the market.

They use the mobile processor for Intel and can be used for opening Word documents, watch movies, browse the web and play Xbox games. They also come with a one-year free Office 365 access and 1TB of online storage through the Microsoft OneDrive.

However, the internal storage of these tablets is limited to a maximum of 32GB while the graphics for the 7-inch and 8-inch displays are less than stellar.

The HP Stream 7 features a 7-inch display screen, 1GB memory, 32GB internal storage, 2MP rear-facing camera, 0.3MP front-facing camera and microSD memory card slot. It is the first Windows tablet priced under $100 with a price tag of $99.99. It also allows users to share music to a number of devices through the HP Connected Music application.

While the Toshiba Encore Mini has similar features and pricing as the Stream 7 of HP, its display screen is limited to 1024 by 600 pixels. Its internal storage is also limited to 16GB.

On the other hand, the E-FUN Nextbook tablet features an 8-inch display screen, 2MP camera at the back and 0.3MP camera in front. It also comes with a 1GB DRAM, 16GB internal storage and microSD memory card slot. This $99 tablet also has a micro-HDMI slot that allows it to be linked to a high definition television.

Aside from tablets priced under $100, a number of PC manufacturers are also offering devices with 8-inch display screens and a number of other features. These Windows tablets include the Dell Venue 8 Pro and the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2.
