Apparently Janet Jackson is already married to a wealthy Qatari, Wissam Al Mana. The wedding of the couple happened sometime last year.

The couple recently indicated that the reports hinting at an extravagant wedding were not accurate. The singer and the businessman supposedly had a quiet, private ceremony last year. However, the two did not give any other details on the exact date or the venue of the wedding.

A report revealed that Wissam Al Mana and Janet Jackson were engaged near the end of December. It also hinted at the possibility that the two will have an extravagant spring wedding. Last October, speculations also emerged in media outlets at the United Arab Emirates that the singer and the businessman were already engaged. Reports also indicated that Jackson is set to convert to Islam.

However, the couple issued a statement indicating that the wedding gifts that they gave to each other were donations to their respective favorite charities. The businessman is the head of the fashion portfolio of his family. He reportedly squired Jackson to the Women’s Wear show of Giorgio Armani during the fashion week held in Milan, Italy.

The wedding is the third for Janet Jackson, who started dating Wissam Al Mana in 2010.
