World’s Richest Prince Accused of Rape by Fashion Model

A young fashion model claimed in Spanish court on Wednesday that one of the world’s richest men known as Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal had raped her. Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal is a known billionaire and a major foreign investor in numerous companies.

According to the 23-year-old fashion model, a dual Spanish and German citizen, the crime happened on a yacht anchored at the Spanish island of Ibiza in 2008. She further claims that her drink was drugged and when she awoke, she found herself on a yacht being sexually abused by a man she identified as Prince Talal.

However, Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal and his lawyers were not present. Their camp defended that there is a mistake in identity because the prince hasn’t visited Ibiza in more than a decade and that others tend to impersonate him. His lawyers also emphasized that the prince was with his family in France in August of 2008 and there are documents to support their statement such as, his passport, cell phone records, hotel receipts, photographs, videos and eyewitness accounts.

Meanwhile, lawyers for the young woman told CNN that there were semen remains left to be investigated by authorities. Likewise additional evidence of the remains of a tranquilizer used for the consummation of the crime will be forwarded to court.
