Xperia C4 Marketed By Sony For Selfies
The latest smartphone offering of Sony, the Xperia C4, aims to provide better selfies to its users. It will come with a five megapixel camera in front featuring a 25 mm wide-angle lens. It will also utilize HDR technology that can allow it to produce better images through its software and capability of producing multiple shots.
These features were merged by Sony into the software to allow users to create eye-catching images when they make portraits of themselves. Sony uses the photo features of the phone as part of its marketing strategy for the device.
Another version of the smartphone, the Xperia C4 Dual, features a dual SIM card slot.
The smartphone has a 5.5-inch display with a 1080p screen resolution, 1.7 GHz Octa-core processor, a thirteen megapixel camera at the back, along with a 2600mAh battery. It runs on the Android Lollipop mobile operating system.
While the company indicated that it will be released into select markets, it has yet to reveal its price tag. The new phone may not be the one that will be released into the United States. Customers who are not into taking wide-angle selfies may be better off with the Samsung Galaxy S6, which has among the best cameras in the market.
When compared to the Xperia C4, the Xperia C2 seems to be designed mainly for the lower end of the market.
