Zayn Malik Goes On A Different Direction

After joining One Direction around five years ago, Zayn Malik is leaving the boy band.

The official Facebook page of the group showed the announcement of the intention of Malik in leaving the group. He wrote that his life with One Direction was more than what he could ever imagine, but he felt that it was already the right time for him to leave the group. While he apologized to the fans if he let them down, he indicated that he is doing what feels right in his heart.

Zayn Malik said that he is leaving because he wants to be able to relax and enjoy some private time away from the limelight. He considers the remaining members of the boy band as his friends for life. He also said that the remaining members will continue to be the best band in the entire world.

The post on the official Facebook page of the group also had statements from the group and Simon Cowell. Cowell was responsible for putting the group together at the UK X-Factor in 2010. The former group of Malik revealed that they will continue to record songs and will release a new album in the future. The group indicated that they were sad to see Zayn Malik go, but they respect his decision to leave. Since they had gone through a lot of things in the past five years, the group said they will always be friends. Cowell also expressed his gratitude for the contributions of Malik to the boy band.

The report on the exit of Malik from the group comes after his decision not to join the current world tour of the group due to stress. The singer co-wrote a number of songs with Naughty Boy, an artist from the UK, last year. One of the songs they wrote was “One Chance to Dance,” which the group wanted to record.

The current world tour of One Direction without Zayn Malik is set to wrap up by October.
